John visits the Desert National Wildlife Refuge. Here he meets up with a US Fish and Wildlife representative to learn about the massive area and all it has to offer. John then travels 36 miles into the refuge to visit the Hidden Forest. There he hikes to the Hidden Cabin and learns from a local biologist and hiker about the life levels of the area.
