And this is the PBS studio that I grew up watching, and I was just excited to perform and showcase our piece.
-We played "A Solitary Wish" by Brian Balmages.
The story behind it is that Brian had an experience with a homeless man during the holiday season, and he realized that the solitary wish of a homeless person is just to be with family at this holiday season.
And he wrote about it in such a beautiful way.
-I started performing music, or I got into orchestra, back in 6th grade, so that was about maybe six or seven years ago.
So I've been playing since then.
And I also was very inspired by classical music a lot.
Hearing it always relaxed me, and I'm like, I want to learn to play that one day.
-They did an incredible job.
It takes an incredible amount of maturity to be able to play the way that they did.
