Ever wonder who makes decisions for your local schools?
Meet the teams.
The board of education.
The board of regents and the board of Trustees.
First up, the Board of Education.
These folks set the rules for all schools from kindergarten to 12th grade, including curriculum standards and school funding allocations across the state.
Next, the Board of Regents, they take care of colleges and universities.
Whether you're into science or arts or anything in between, they are all about helping you succeed in college.
And then there's the county school board of trustees.
They listen to your community's needs and give input on specialized program allocation and curriculum enrichment.
Together, these boards are elected to focus on the education of Nevada's youth from preschool through college.
Nevada's education leadership needs your voice.
Make a difference by voting in these local elections.
Stay in the know.
Get involved.
Support your education boards.
Remember, your voice matters.
